The Top Lake is a 3-acre water with far eaching views across unspoilt Essex countryside.
This lake holds a great head of double figure Carp, Bream to 10Ibs, Tench, Roach and Ide plus lots of skimmers.
The perfect water for the general course angler that is looking to catch some nice double figure Carp.
The swims have flat level platforms and the lake is a perfect venue for holding a group club match.

Back Lake (Day Ticket required)
There are now 4 lakes at Churchgate, the Back Lake is situated on the far side of the Top Lake and has been developed especially with Dads and Lads in mind aswell as catering for the Smaller clubs,
We have stocked the Back Lake with Wild Carp, Commons and Mirror Carp all averaging 2Ib to 4Ib.
There are larger Carp present and the odd Grass Carp, we have also stocked well over a ton of the best quality Roach and Bream supplied by Mick Toomer Gloucester Park.

The Middle Lake (Members Only)
This 3.5 acre water is strictly Members only and holds prolific stocks of Bream/Tench/Roach/Rudd/
Perch/Catfish/and Carp all to specimen size.
The Carp go to over 30lbs and the resident population of 20lb class fish is exceptional
Multiple catches are common place and the average weight of the Carp are 18Ib plus.
The Cats go to over 40Ib and are thriving on all the live bait.
Traditional Float Fisherman can really bag up on this lake and the Pole is devastating for quality Roach and Rudd that have never been hooked before.

The Bottom Lake (Day Ticket required)
The Bottom Lake is ideal for the smaller clubs and has 26 strong level platform that will take some beating for space and comfort.
There is a good head of Big bream and pleasure nets in the summer last year exceeded well over 120lbs on a regular basis. The carp of all sizes up to 20lbs and plentiful as well as Crucians bigger than your hand, even bigger Tench and Perch that hover at the high end of 3Ib. Roach, Rudd, Perch, Skimmers and Ide.
